An ancient Roman legend tells , that every year on December 31,  an old lady Stops all the night in Piazza Navona and when the first ray of sun comes, hundreds and hundreds of pigeons appear in the sky and go to her,almost they would like to wish her a Happy New Year.
The old lady, happy, raises his arms to the sky, she thanks God to be born in Rome and greets his friends.
