At the Capitolini Museums from April 8 to July 8: “Beato Angelico, the Sunset of Reinassance”. For the 550th anniversary of his death, the biggest exposition dedicated to the great artist, with a choice of masterpieces coming from many collections.
At the Museum of Ara Pacis from April 9 to September 6 a collection of objects by the Master of Italian Design Alessandro Mendini.
At the Rome Museum in Trastevere: “Rome: Place of the Memory, Place of the Vision”, an exposition of works by 30 young artists coming from different countries and connected to the Rome International Spring Academy.
Among the already started events:
Until May 17 at the Museo di Roma: “Rome, the Wonderful Vision”. A collection of bird’s eye views paintings from XIII and XIX century, the opportunity to see how was the eternal city.
At the Carlo Bilotti Museum, until May 3, an exposition of 110 drawings by the Italian Master of Metaphisical Art Giorgio De Chirico. 
On May 2, at 9.00 PM, the wonderful venue of the Markets of Trajan will be transformed in the stage for “Piano Solo” concert by Danilo Rea and after, on the terrace giving on the Roman Forum, will be offered a degustation focused on Brunello di Montalcino, very good Italian wine from Tuscany.

Spring is coming, the weather is becoming the right one and Rome is preparing an April full of events to make your journey a wonderful experience.
On the side of the music, Nek, a famous Italian pop singer will take a concert on 26 April on the stage of the Auditorium Parco della Musica. On 17 April Bob Dylan will entertain us from the stage of Palalottomatica. Rome is also high level classic ballet and The Opera Theatre will offer us three different moments with Les Ballett Russes: from 7 to 11 April, from 18 to 24 and from 28 to 3 May. On the stage of the Teatro Nazionale (one block from the main Opera House) will be performed Coppelia from 18 to 24 April.
Maybe during your travel to Rome you would like to assist a sport event, you have the opportunity with two soccer games at the Olympic Stadium: 5 April Rome vs Bologna; 11 April the game between the two main Roman teams: Lazio vs Rome. On 27 April will start the Italian Open tennis tournament at Foro Italico. There are also some business events getting ready. At the Fiera di Roma, the new Rome’s Fairground, will take place: from 1 to 3 April Ecopolis, a fair dedicated to governance and urban design; on 18 and 19 April Fuoriserie, an exposition of antique cars and motorcycles.
Last but not less important, from 5 to 12 April will be the Easter Holy Week and on the evening of Friday 10 in the amazing scenery of the Coliseum the Pope will lead the Via Crucis in memory of the Passion of Jesus.
